Featuring 98 Días, The One Who Opens the Way, and excerpts from Carlos Acosta’s Nutcracker in Havana, this performance, danced by the students of Acosta Advanced Training Hub, celebrates the artistic diversity of our young artists through contemporary dance, Afro-Cuban folklore, and classical ballet.

Olivier Award-winning choreographer Javier de Frutos’ 98 Días takes us back to Cuba in 1930. Spanish playwright Federico García Lorca was so enchanted by the island that a short visit turned into 98 days, a period he described as among the happiest of his life. This vibrant work captures what it feels like to fall in love with a place far from home.
