Acosta Danza Academy at the 48th International Ballet Prix de Lausanne

We have fantastic news to share with you, three of our students will be representing the Acosta Danza Academy at the 48th International Ballet Prix de Lausanne in Montreux, Switzerland in February 2020.

Leandro F [pictured top left], a third year student at the Academy, has been selected from hundreds of young dancers from across the globe to compete at this highly prestigious competition. We are immensely proud of Leandro making it through the qualifying round, the last Cuban to compete at The Prix de Lausanne was in fact Carlos Acosta in 1990

In addition to Leandro, two more of our third year dancers Amisaday R [pictured bottom left] and Chay D [pictured bottom right] will also be travelling to Lausanne to participate in the choreographic project, this event is held for students of Partner Schools of the Prix de Lausanne which the Acosta Danza Academy is very honoured to be a Partner School. Amisaday and Chay will work with the choreographer Mauro Bigonzetti who will create a piece which will be performed at the final gala.

We wish our students the very best of luck in Montreux next February.
